Painter, picture book author, and designer. Graduate of the Picture Book Creation Studio at the Central Academy of Fine Arts.
Has illustrated posters for films such as Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea and Natsume’s Book of Friends. Collaborations include the Palace Museum, the British Museum, Universal Pictures, Hermès Group, the International Platinum Association, and Harper’s Bazaar.
Former lecturer at the Central Academy of Fine Arts. Winner of the First Prize for Graduation Design at CAFA, the Gold Award of the “Tian He Award” International Innovation Design Competition, the Wenjin Award (Children’s Category), the “Little Golden Lion Cup” Original Picture Book of the Year 2018, the Feng Zikai Chinese Children’s Picture Book Award (First Prize), the Golden Kong Book Award (France, First Prize), the JIA Illustration Excellence Award (Japan), and the Impression Award (Russia), among others.
Published works include Mr. Otter’s New Neighbor, Mr. Otter’s Wedding, The Sultan’s Rhinoceros Horn, and The Little Stonemason: The Story of Yungang.
Creator of original IPs such as Otter’s Jianghu, Mr. Otter, Mr. Sea Otter, and Meow Lingling.
