Fun fact: It’s been half a year since PERMA released a new large-format jigsaw puzzle. But as you know — we don’t just make puzzles. We create moments. And every PERMA release is meant to be meaningful. 💛

After six months of careful crafting, sketching, and reworking (plus a few cups of emergency coffee), we’re proud to finally unveil:

Guangzhou · Skyline — a celebration of this vibrant city and a worthy successor to our signature puzzle, Hello, Mega City Shanghai.

Childhood Memories in Canton: A City That Keeps Its Soul
For many who grew up in Guangzhou in the 90s, the city is more than a name — it’s a feeling. A walk down Beijing Road or Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street, stopping for beef offal skewers, turnip cakes, or sweet steamed pudding. Morning dim sum — or as the locals call it, “one teapot, two dim sum dishes” — with shrimp dumplings, chicken feet, and siu mai filling the table as laughter flows.

During Mid-Autumn Festival, children carried lanterns through alleyways while adults gathered indoors for Mahjong and mooncakes.

Today, Guangzhou's skyline has transformed. Sleek skyscrapers rise over the river, and Canton Tower (Xiao Man Yao) has become a modern-day icon for locals and tourists alike. Cafés and HeyTea chains have replaced some teahouses. Weekends now mean city walks through Yongqing Fang or bike rides across Haizhu Wetlands, where the wind carries both nostalgia and new beginnings.

And yet, the city's charm remains. From flower markets to herbal tea stalls, and neighbors chatting on street corners, Guangzhou continues to blend tradition with reinvention. It’s this emotional landscape — rich with warmth, rhythm, and identity — that inspired Guangzhou · Skyline, PERMA’s newest decor puzzle.
